Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans.
Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education units - Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children.
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles.
