Key ResponsibilitiesYou will spend your time in two key areasThe first is GM Focus timeYou will coach your team, grow your own skills, make business plans, welcoming and engaging with customersThe second is On the floorThis is where you will be working with your Squad and delivering a great experienceOversee the daily operations of the storeDrive the best possible business results and engage customer and Squad experienceProvide leadership to the entire Squad with particular attention to the Store Coach and Shift CaptainsLeading through others is key to successIdentify opportunities to improve store performanceReview store results and develop action plans to achieve successEngage your Squad in solving problems and successfully achieving your store's goalsPartner with peers and those in leadership and ask for what you need to be successfulMaintain staffing levels through proactive talent recruitment and selection processesBuild and sustain community relationshipsUtilize forecasts and the current labor model to distribute staffing and schedulesExecute all training programs to new and existing SquadOverall accountability for cleanliness and food safety within the storeHold Squad accountable for their performance and demonstrate a growth mindset for ongoing developmentCelebrate the wins with your SquadManage store inventory levels and ensure supplies are ordered, received, processed and labeled.

Embrace change and seek to learn and improve every dayIt's not perfection, it's a commitment to progressFocus on finding the solution, not dwelling on the problemBe generous with your timeShow patience and grace when answering questions and be of service to othersExpress appreciation for the generosity of othersShow compassion, understanding, and willingness to support others without judgmentPlay a role in creating a safe environment for all customers and squad membersDemonstrate and embody MOD culture and standardsRequired Qualifications 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurantTenacious spirit and demonstrating pride and sense of ownership for a businessProven success training, developing, and leading teamsExperience ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory within a food service environmentMust obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start dateMust be at least 21 years oldPreferred Qualifications College Education in Business or Related Field may substitute a portion of required experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAs a member of our Squad, you must have the ability to work in an open kitchen environment, rotating between front and back of houseThis requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, carrying, pushing and pulling, and in general handling or moving objects weighing up to fifty poundsYou must also have the ability to operate hand-held appliances, sharp knives, and various kitchen equipment including but not limited to the industrial can opener, dough press, industrial dishwasher, very hot oven, etcDepending on the location, you may need to go up and down stairs and/or use an elevatorYou must also have the ability to communicate and exchange information quickly in English with Squad members and others.
