Legal Secretary - Workers' Compensation

Workers' compensation secretary with minimum 3 years experience. Secretarial duties include:
typing, editing/proofreading, filing, maintain calendar and diaries, scheduling depositions, medical appointments, some travel arrangements and photocopying. Computer skills a must.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Superior proficiency in MS Word and MS Outlook- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills - Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks - Strong oral and written communication - Attention to detail - Capable of working independently and as a team member

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
