Vintage Royal Albert Teapot for sale in Novato, CA

1 of 8

This is an exquisite, vintage, 1962, “Old Country Roses”, lidded, bone china, Royal Albert,  white floral teapot. The lid of the teapot  has a pineapple knob, that is outlined by 22 karat gilding. The lid also features burgundy, pink, and yellow roses in full bloom surrounded by greenery and 22 K gilding. The body of the teapot is surrounded by 22K gold banding with floral hanging roses; ie., pink, burgundy, and yellow, and leafy greens that dangle about the circumference of the teapot. The handle is decorated with delicate 22 K gold scrolls, while the spout displays floral decor along with gold scrolls. The base pattern consists of fine gilding

The measurements approximately are: 6 1/2” tall (from the base to the top of the handle) { 8 1/2” tall from the base to the top of the lid} x 10” wide from end of the handle to the end of the spout. I acquired this piece as part of an estate which I have been charged with liquidating. It is in excellent condition, with no staining, cracks, chips; all the gold gilt is intact, with no signs of wear. The underside of the teapot is marked, “Old Country Roses, Royal Albert, Bone China, England, 1962 Royal Albert Ltd”.
